Orders of Dress

The following is a listing (with diagram) of the orders of dress for the squadron.

Please make sure you check the routine orders (or your flight commander) to ensure you are wearing the correct uniform order.

c1a (Cerimonial dress)

C-1 is the highest order of dress with tunic and tie.


- Wedge

- Cloth cap badge

- Shirt

- Necktie

- Jacket

- Trousers

- Boots

- Medals

- Pins

​- Cloth glider / power pilot badge

Authorized Accoutrements:

- name tag

- lanyard

- white webbing and gloves


This is worn by ALL cadets for ANY cerimonial parade

C3 (Service Dress - Winter)

Service Dress - Normal LHQ training dress.

- Wedge with cloth cap badge

- shirt

- necktie

- jacket

- trousers

- boots

- ribbons and pins

​- cloth glider / power pilot badge


Authorized Accoutrements: name tag;

​If open necked order of dress is worn, shirt collar shall be outside and over jacket collar


This is worn by cadets above the rank of Cpl during the winter dress period

C3B (Service Dress - Summer)

- Wedge with cloth cap badge

- shirt

- rank slip-ons

- trousers

- boots

- ribbons and pins

Authorized accoutrements: name tag and metal pilot/glider wings

This is worn by cadets above the rank of Cpl during the summer dress period

C3E (Service Dress - Winter)

- Wedge with cloth cap badge

- blue t-shirt

- jacket (worn or carried)

- trousers

- boots

- ribbons and pins

- cloth glider / power pilot badge

This is worn by cadets below the rank of F/Cpl during the winter dress period

C3F (Service Dress - Summer)

- wedge with cloth cap badge

- blue t-shirt

- trousers

This is worn by cadets below the rank of F/Cpl during the summer dress period

C5 (Field Training Uniform)

- Wedge or Beret

- Field shirt

- Rank slip-ons

- Blue t-shirt

- Field pants and belt

- Socks

- Field boots or alternative as directed


This is worn by ALL cadets when issued as the order of dress.
